Hello Oceanport Friends of Different Learners!

Hello from the Oceanport Friends of Different Learners!

The Friends of Different Learners, a committee of the Oceanport PTO, is an organization of parents, staff and community members that work together to enhance the education of children who have different learning styles, strengths, abilities and opportunities. We are volunteers with a vested interest in providing information to the community.  The FODL is neutral on many subjects including diet, medication, vaccines, teaching methods, therapies, etc. We make our members aware of meetings in the area on many topics of interest. The intent is to raise awareness of all the resources available so informed decisions can be made based on what works best for them and their family.
We invite you to share any ideas, resources or information that would benefit other members.  If you are looking for help finding a doctor, therapist or information please email me and I will email the request to the group, keeping privacy in mind.
If you would like to be removed from this list please let me know.  If you know someone in Oceanport or Sea Bright who may benefit from the information we share, please forward this email to them.  If they are in a surrounding town I can direct them to our Two River FODL contacts in Fair Haven, Shrewsbury, Oceanport, Rumson, Middletown, Red Bank, Interlaken, Tinton Falls, Wall Twp, Colts Neck or the Monmouth County SPAN office (Statewide Parent Advocacy Network).
    Thank you!
