Welcome to The Charger's Status!
6th Edition: June 2015
Edición en Español
This edition of the "Charger's Status" reflects the writing ability and creativity of students in Spanish class. If you see the work of your child displayed; have them sit down and translate it for you! Student work ranges from teacher profiles, country highlights, information about unique Latino holidays, student predictions about their future, fictional stories and more! Enjoy!
The Charger's Status is an online interactive-newspaper where the students of Maple Place Middle School can report the happenings within the school, local community, world of sports & entertainment and beyond.
The students involved worked diligently to come up with their own ideas for articles, conduct appropriate research and complete their tasks by the due date.
In my observation, students these days are extremely busy and are involved in a multitude of extra-curricular activities, sports, clubs and not to mention--a lot of school work! I commend each student for their efforts and hard work in making their deadlines and submitting interesting articles to keep the school and local community aware of what is taking place around us.
Also, in order to keep up with modern technology the Charger's Status will present news clips of the happenings around the school and community in live video. These videos can be viewed under the "ChargerTube" section of the menu.
If you have any ideas for articles and /or suggestions to make the Charger's Status a more information-rich and dynamic literary community, please feel free to contact me below or comment on the official Charger's Status Blog.
